Is getting extremely old
How does any one get by
Always doing what you’re told

You try to bend the rules
Just for compromise
It gets thrown back in your face
And the fist begins to rise

You duck and hide
But it comes back quickly
You cry for help
But no one wants to help or see

Why do we take it
