Storms

A cool sleepless night a silhouette moves across your floor,
You jump scared for something is in your room,
The wind blows your curtains move with the wind making a rattling sound,
Your palms are getting sweaty your eyes are weary,
Lightning flashes out side your window
Thunder rolles on forever you hide under your pillow,
The dogs howling and barking at something,
You start to cry,
Your floor starts to creek for something is walking in your room,
you scream out loud, with all your might you hold the covers over your head,
you feel something grab you and shake you,
They're saying your name, your screaming invain,
Finlay the covers are riped off your head, just to see your dad standing there,
saying we have to go,
you rush to the basement,
you hear the scream of thunder over your house,
the earth is shacking the room is vibrating,
you cling to your dad full of life,
crying and scared,
then within a instant it is all over with,
you let go and realize that you are alive
