Lost Lover

by Tina Carr AKA Snickers   Jun 23, 2008

Two lovers walk hand in hand,
On their way to their promised land,
But little do they know
Their time will be short spent,
For the two lovers
Will soon be split,
He scornfully cries,
As he holds the mangled body
Of his dead bride,
He grasps her tight
In fear to let go,
For now he knows
He must journey alone
He walks on ahead
As he leaves her behind
With only sweet memories
To keep him alive
