Each morning I wake,
And put on that false smile,
Better then to explain what I am,
Behind this mask.
I search and search,
For something,
For someone,
To save me from this vast sea of nothing.
I have tried,
But no one will hold on to me long enough,
For me to get off of the lonely shore.
All I really need is one person,
That I can trust to keep me alive,
Happy,
So that maybe I can find a way out,
Because I'm lost,
Lost in this ocean of emptiness.
