My walk with god

My walk with god

LORD, Help me to be a better Christian,
To walk closer to your ways.
Teach me how to listen,
to all the guidance my savior lays

Before my path and upon my heart,
so I may give you all my love.
From your path ,may I never depart.
Until I meet you in heaven above.

You mean so very much to me,
I want you in my life forever.
You gave your son set me free.
I will never give up on you whatsoever.

You sent down your son from the sky,
To forgive me of my sins that hurt you so.
Jesus was put on a cross that stood so high,
Even though it seems it was a long time ago.

You show me the way,
By shinning your light on me.
The bible also teaches me the way,
but in the end, you are the key.

For caring , for giving,
for helping me to understand
I've found a better way of living,
In my saviors gentle hand

just hold me in your hands dear lord
as you hold me in your heart
I will follow you in your sacred word,
Never to depart

When you carry me in your arms,
I know your carrying me through my hardships and trials.
When I'm with you I know that I'm not in any harm
And in the end there are a lot of smiles.
