Tremble

by Wishmaster   Jun 23, 2008

Before the Almighty God
I stand still
In awe of an God
With His glory, can fill

Beckoning into the deep
The world, He did assemble
And I begin to weep
And I tremble

And all I can see
Is the glory of the King
He's everything I can't be
And so I sing

Beckoning into the deep
The world, He did assemble
And I begin to weep
And I tremble

And I long for mercy
Please, forgive me
I want to see
All you've ever meant to me

Beckoning into the deep
The world, He did assemble
And I begin to weep
And I tremble

And I tremble

Wow, my dear, that's a beautiful piece of work. Glory to God. ^.^

First off, it reminded me of Nicole Nordman's song "Tremble", which is splendid. yours and hers are very different, and yet all go to the same purpose.

    And all I can see
Is the glory of the King
    He's everything I can't be
    And so I sing

^^ This little blip reminded me of the song "Sing to the King" but that might just be because it's stuck in my head....rofl. But it's a wonderful stanza nontheless.

    And I long for mercy
    Please, forgive me
    I want to see
All you've ever meant to me

^^ this was, by far, my favorite stanza. not necessarily because of flow or complexity, but because of the meaning. We have a God who forgives people....and people can take comfort in that. i know i can. i've done some stupid things that go against God before..and i'm only 14. rofl....i have a whole life ahead of me. but i can move past the stupid things because i know He forgives me.

Once again, lovely poem. You did a wonderful job. God bless. :)
