People often ask her why she likes the rain.
She never tells them she's hoping it might wash away the pain.
She looks up to the sky as the clouds come tumbling in,
She wants the heavens cries to wash away all she hides within.
She walks outside in great hope, thinking this time the skies will listen,
But she walks back inside again, her face and skin in glisten.
The heaven didn't pay attention today, but she will never quit.
Wanting the heaven to make it work, make she know she will fit.
She wishes the rain could wash the memories away,
And make she not fear what comes after every day.
The night falls in, and she is scared to death when she goes to bed,
Knowing that she might never wake up, by pain, she might be dead.
But every time she walks outside in the rain and cold,
She thinks of all the feelings she has, all what she can hold.
With the rain comes honesty, reveals all the lies,
When it rains, she knows she's not the only one who cries.
