You Make Me Want To Hide

I wake knowing you're waiting for me,
so I try to rush for you.
I'm sure we both easily agree
you feel the same way I do.

You make me shy and want to hide
each time you say something sweet.
You make me feel funny inside
and you sweep off my feet.

Always speaking for hours on end
with us laughing away the day.
It's safe to say you're my best friend
but, I feel more than in that way.

You know who you are and how I feel.
My heart gets fuzzy and starts to flutter.
From the rest this is hard to conceal.
Speaking to you I may even stutter.

I giggle at the things you say
and hide behind my long hair.
When you leave I want you to stay.
I want you to know I care.

You are so shy. I love it though.
This innocent feeling is so pure and true.
I'm glad that day you said hello.
I want you to know how I feel about you.
