World Of Our Own {Contest}

Sometimes I feel,
as though I'm alone.
But then I realize,
we're lost in a world of our own.

I try so hard,
but I cannot win.
So I try once more,
and again & again.

I can't give up,
that's not my style.
Even if I know,
I must fake my smile.

I won't be broken,
you won't do it to me.
I'll be okay,
just wait & see.

My life will go on,
even without you.
Read my words carefully,
because they're all true.

Sometimes I feel,

    I really love this, its very well-written. I like how you keep saying your life will go on, even without him. I love it how for the end you repeated the first stanza! Every line was great and I can tell you are a terrific writer!
