I love the flow of this poem. The rhyming is not forced. It tells a heartbreaking story. Excellent use of a metaphor. Powerful ending! Wow! |

All in all a wonderful, meaningful poem.......fairytales are just make believe, but even with truth, nothing ever last at all........the tricks life plays...........really loved the last stanza, but the last line says it all........."her soul already died"............really can feel the agony of the whole poem here..to be alive and yet dead....makes me think which is worst......death or living death |

This what I call a true story.. There's no happily ever afters.. It's all lies we tell ourselves to prevent from collapsing into this cruel world of ours. Anyway it's a beautiful poem, well written & beautifully penned 5/5 |

A beautiful poem, I could feel your loss and your desire to join your true love. Sometimes expressing those feelings in words is a hard thing to do. You did it eloquently. Bravo |
