Share the same Sun

by Tripp   Jun 24, 2008

I apologize if this isn't that great...I'm far from in the proper mindset at the moment so it's just a poetic expulsion of my thoughts.

And the sun's mouth, slowly bleeds
into the horizon sowing the new seeds
for today's tomorrow on another side
a place on which both sides may lie

the one thing that they share
the sun on this earth and this air
so many differences, yet still the same
yet they still battle, as if it's some game

over petty issues with a large confidence
thoughts percieved by their incompetence
thousands die for one man's ideal themes
they all lose their lives and with them their dreams

It's so sad, we're all one in the same
merely geographic difference is to blame
distant islands with different dreams
Yet we both share the same sun
or at least it seems.
