    What a breathtaking beautiful poem.

From my room with a view I see
    Sapphire waves of coming tide
    Wispy clouds floating by
    As day will soon subside

I can see the blue waves as the day begins to turn to night.

    Grains of sand return
    To an ocean vast
    As the sun sinks east
    Shadows now are cast

The imagery and word choices are wonderful.

    Gazing out to the horizon
    Anticipating night
    Starry eyes awaiting
    Moon to cast her light

The picture you have painted with your words is awesome.

    Being one with nature
    Soothing me with care
    Never will she leave me
    For mother's always there

I love the ending, The peacefulness of natures beauty. What a wonderful piece you penned for the contest.
    Love Cindy

    Rachel,
As always you have not failed your readers. You have penned an exquisite piece here. You know how much I adore nature poems and you have captured the essence of it's beauty in this poem. The sunset, the rise and fall of the oceans tide, Absolutely amazing!
The imagery was astounding. I could picture myself on a beachside bungalow watching this take place with the breeze of the ocean blowing the curtains. Awesome stuff here.

I love nature poems, but it's not often I find one I actually enjoy. This one on the other hand was amazing, such a deep meaning and the words were very powerful. Mother nature will always be there...excellent job 5/5

`I loved how you started it out like you were actually looking out a window, because it puts the reader in your exact position and it makes me picture this so perfectly. This description was amazing. I couldn't have worded it better than you did. The words that you used to describe this view was amazing. So vivid!

Overall, such a beautiful write. One that you could picture so vividly, and when you look at the picture it's exactly what I imagined in my mind. Wonderfully written. This poem was amazing, you definatly have your way with words! 5/5

    Rachel,

Poetry is great and springs up from the most unlikely places, imagery for instance. A picture paints a thousand words, but best of all when they are crafted such as yours here.

I love the sapphire reference and the passage of time, form sunset to moon rise, possibly a reference to the enduring love given freely by a mother.

    Great piece :)
