Holding on

Holding on to these dreams
watching in a world of imperfection
realizing life as it seems
is headed in a different direction

out of reach
to my eyes
with a little
less despise

there is no smile
no tears or pain
in a while
ill still think the same

Ill hold on to life
the thoughts i lost
In this plight
a thicker plot

One person
can't change the world
Nor the life of another
they can only leave a thought
to let their memories last longer
