You beat me down,
tore me apart.
Now I'm gone,
& I won't change my heart.

You can beg & plead,
& you can say you love me.
I've made my decision,
whole-heartedly.

You can say you'll never forget me,
and tell me you need this.
Too bad for you,
you're everything I don't miss.

I've moved on,
please do the same.
I thought it would work,
but the relationship was lame.

I can't take this,
not anymore.
There's no possible way,
I'll be coming back for more.

Now that it's over,
I'm glad we're apart.
I've met someone new,
and I won't change my heart.
