Airplanes

by StandStill   Jun 25, 2008

Watch the planes pull in and out...
Lovely birds of metal, eating the air.
So free in a passive way,
Casting shadows on the water.

Watch the planes take off and land,
And yet here I sit, quietly.
Watch them leave and come back home;
How isignicant in the grand scheme of life.

And yet I envy them and their freedom.
The passengers that fly so far away...
Baby, dream me up a far away someday,
Where once upon a times can be real.

**eh. i don't write very many free verse..sorry**

    This is cool. it caught my attention, and lived up to the hype
