Glass Butterflies

by meganmarie   Jun 25, 2008

His caressive hands wound between her fingers
his toxic words, screaming through her senses
his poison kiss, burning through her veins
he will never let go of his angel, his love
she will never forget her life, her love
glass butterfly kisses, softer than clouds
shatter to pieces and break into a thousand more
he did know another life was presently growing
with each tender touch she edges with nausea
she looks into his eyes and he wonders what's happened
she looks away and says that she's pregnant
he's overwhelmed with the though
and he hugs her ever closer
he whispers in her ear
"i will never leave you"
tears swell in her eyes
a new life is forming
they can hardly wait
he whispers again
"iche liebe dich" [i love you.]
