For now i'll sit and think of you!

I would often sit and think of you
imagine where you were and why,
I would long to hear your voice
sit and watch the time go by
There are so many times
that i have longed to say
that you were my everything
and how i think of you each day
now you treat me like a passer by
who once you held so close
and it seems just like a distant dream
and you haunt me like a ghost
i never thought we'd come to this
or that it would hurt still
to see you there all of the time
to feel that rush of cold chill
as when you do not look at me
or give me a reason why
as to how we lost this connection
the friend the love the guy
i miss you more than words can say
as corny as it seems
and the only time i can tell you this
is when i see you in my dream
so i wait for the day you notice me
the cold chill goes away
and you will give me that sweet smile
and ill know your back to stay
if i cant have you beside me
or life for you moved on
i would still hold you in my heart
as to me its were you belong
i just wish that you could feel this
and then you can start to realize
thats a love can be forever
and a friendship never dies
for now ill sit and think of you
imagine were you are and why
and ill hold on to your memory
and ill try so hard not to cry.
