I think it's ironic,
How I can work so hard,
On one poem,
And spend time on it,
Like "Pandemonium",
And "All Out Spill Out",
But nobody really cares,
Cares what it's about,
Then I take a couple minutes,
And write a memo on my phone,
Make it clever and funny,
Life lesson unknown,
About a army of bugs,
Protecting their friend,
You know the poem,
You know where I'm going at,
"Splat", has over 600 views,
In only seven days,
More than any other poem I wrote,
It considerably outweighs,
I am not complaining at all,
As long as people read my poems,
I won't go off the wall...
I came to "funny poems",
Looking for just that.
But you grabbed my attention.
Like a rabbit out of a hat.
This prose made me think
That you're pretty smart,
And maybe I'll come back, sober,
And peruse all your art.
