Days drawn closed to heartless times,
When love was declared before you every time.
And yet there is no love to share anymore,
For that bridge in space has been shut by this door.

A link in time to break what was real,
I thought that I'd really tell you how I feel.
And suddenly your so-called care would draw me astray,
And I'd be caught reliving the words of that day.
