I dont know any of this technical stuff about poetry but i really like the style you have written this in, really interesting and ive had more than a few of those mornings too!

I have been there I remember the fear of talking to a woman who had become a nag yet still staying in a marriage as we had become a habit. Though now I am going to die happy one day as I broke away and I am now on my 2nd marriage in Thailand with my beautiful young Thai wife and I am happy, retired and love did not pass me by. That is the reaction this poem had on me and that to me is a sure sign of a good poet Rememberance , tears and emotions. You are good Ed.
