Temptation

Temptation is in my stare
and in the kiss floating in air.
It's in the thought of kissing you
and in the heart I thought I knew.

The dreams I had and life I live,
the love to you I want to give.
It's in the actions left undone
and in the thoughts I've let rerun.

The tempted heart that wants to stray
has fought it off and managed to stay.
