The Battling Storm

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Jun 27, 2008

As it battles with the wind the dark sky growls.
Rain pours down as it cracks and howls.
Pitter patter on the earth.
The sky opens and gives birth.

Lightning flashes as bellowing follows
and the earth opens wide and swallows.
The rain crashes down and covers the land.
The sky so gray and wet: bland.

The storm turns violent and whips
down on earth as the water drips.
This continues through the night.
The storm continues it's deadly fight.
