In the rain

She sits there on the bench
Looking into the distance
Just staring at nothing
He just looks at her
Thinking how beautiful she is
She doesn't deserve to be sad
She deserves anything she wants
He thinks to himself...
"I hope that she'll take my love,
I hope she'll give me hers"
He reaches his hand out
Hoping she'll take it
She stops staring so blankly
She looks at him, his hand
A smile takes over his face
She just stares into his eyes
Wondering if it will be worth it
She doesnt have anything to look forward to
Reaching her hand out
She smiles
He softly grabs her hand
Pulling her up off the bench
Whispering in her ear
"it'll all be okay, I'll always be here"
