100

by Extinct Angel   Jun 28, 2008

Man so many poems
So much truth yet
So few who find meaning
A tribute this is not
Just a footnote in times
Come to pass I am
Only worried about
Times yet to come
The uncertainty of life
And its preservation is
So delicately unbalanced
Yet my biggest fear
Is that of death
I only wish that I am not
1 of 100 who die to early or
1 of 100 who are sexually abused
Even though i was 1 of 100
To be both mentally
And physically abused
I only want to be 1 of 100 who
Welcome death as an old friend

    Excellent work! Keep it up!

"Fear not death is what one should learn,
For it should be welcomed with open arms in turn.
Though life may be like a fairtytale so true,
Death brings only pleasant days to those who knew."
