I really wanted to know if

But when I looked up to you,
You were feeling the same as I,
I watched the tears roll down
From your precious emerald eyes...
And I felt my heart go out to you,
I longed to bear your burden
But you pushed me so far away
And it was all so sudden!
I never wanted to be torn from you,
I just wanted to hold you and live,
I want to listen and together we'll cry
If only you'll listen and know I'm here...
But I know you'll never listen,
I can feel it in the depths of my heart,
All you'll continue doing
Is tear my reality apart.
I feel the rain fall upon my skin
As I run further towards you, crying,
