Suicide

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Jun 28, 2008

This is for you Thomas.

Each time you mention wanting to leave
it hurts me and I begin to grieve.
A guy so good, I care so much.
You say the word, my heart I clutch.

Suicide. That's what you want
Your death would forever haunt.
You drive me nuts and tear me apart.
If you were to die you'd crush my heart.

At times you seem to be okay.
Then you want to throw it away.
So many years are left to live.
So many things are left to give.

I wish I could always be there
to cease your death and show I care.
I would give you my heart to keep you whole
and I would try to save your fragile soul.

You're killing me with just the thought.
I'm torn apart, I am distraught.
I might wake up with no more friends.
Especially if your life ends.

    :(((( Saaaad.
    My favorite verse is
'I wish I could always be there
to cease your death and show I care.
I would give you my heart to keep you whole
and I would try to save your fragile soul.'

It really showed how you're so willing to give yourself o save him. This poem was very well-written, and very true. :(

    5/5, for sure!

    Love

Aww. This is sad. I'm not sure if I exactly know who you were referring to in this poem, but I have an idea. But, yeah.. At least this poem shows that you truely care about this person and couldn't live without them if they did take their life. It's a really good poem, and I hope whomever this is addressed to reads it and changes their mind. Hmmm, so poetically, this poem had a very nice flow and everything was excellent. Yippeee. 5/5..
