I can relate to this. That said, the 6th and 8th lines pretty much say the same thing 3 times in the same empty manner. And while I understand the theme is indeed that tragic sense of a personal void, I do think modifying that last line to encapsulate the utter feeling of despair and hopelessness would make this poem an absolute gem.
