Burning Death

by Krissymkitty   Jun 29, 2008

Something is burning
The soft part of my skin
My scars are turning red
It's becoming thin

My flesh burns off
As the fire spins
I start to cough
As the smoke invades

I fall to the floor
My black wings burnt and broken
As i watched the fire soar
And the alarm ring

Hopeless and dieing
I hear some people calling
My last sign of hope
But the roof started falling

I scream in agony
As pain riped through my skin
They heard my scream
And came running...with air running thin

The wall collapsed
And they couldn't come
My hope was gone
As my body started going numb

Light headed;dizzy
I told the world goodbye
As i faded away
I sighed

Great poem. It really paints a picture in my head. The part that really sticks in my head is:

My black wings burnt and broken
As i watched the fire soar

    Nice job. Honest Luck
