Dreaming

So calm but the water is so deep
Dark but innocent, the sky turns almost deadly
I can feel your salty lips rubbing against mine
As the ride continues on and I feel a sudden guilt
(Im sorry but the blade called me once again
you know how I cant say no...)
And you pull away, looking me in the eyes
Oh how warm your arms are, holding me closely toward your fragile body
Scarred arms never push me away
For you the rule is the same

Then the lights are turned off and there is nothing there
No proof that you were ever here beside me
I search through the crowd of people, screaming your name
And when I think I see you, and reach out my hand
You dont remember my name

The alarm clock goes off, once again its time to get up
You were never with me it was only a dream
But what a sweet dream it was
As I hit the snooze button and close my eyes
Falling alseep, with a smile on my face
Happiness filling me
