Euphoria of Doom.

by Helene   Jun 30, 2008

Your scent, your touch, so decadent,
Your kiss pure poison in my veins,
And we were once so innocent,
Till lust polluted in our brains.
So gone was hope, with childish dreams,
Scattered on the bedroom floor,
And in the rush of that, it seemed,
Nothing real made sense no more.
We feasted in our timeless lust,
Like ecstasy in either hearts,
But every vow has turned to dust,
blown into a thousand parts.
And now the time stands still again,
From seeing you across the room,
Starring right into the eyes of he,
Who brought euphoria with doom.
A paradise of forbidden fruit,
Temptation high above us all,
I gaze into the death of you,
And know you'll take me down the fall.
Your eyes, your lips, so decadent,
Your soul surrounded by a mist,
When we met, I was innocent,
And now I can't resist.
