Hide With Me

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Jul 1, 2008

Put a blanket over me
so neither of us can see.
I'm hidden deep beneath the sheets.
Cold no longer; everything heats.
It is just the blanket and me,
and yet we are so plain to see.
Emotions masked with such ease.
No strange questions or a please.
It's always there to help me out
when there's something to hide about.
But alone is not something I want to be,
so would you come and hide with me?

-This doesn't seem worded right to me.. ?

Another quick poem. I think it needs to be longer. You always used to write longer poems.. and they were amazing.. what happened to them!? 4/5
