Lost

Lost in my own world,
I feel like I don't belong.
Trapped in my cage,
Trapped in my song.

People don't understand me
They think they know.
But most of these people
Never experienced "real" pain before

Do you know what it feels like...
To be on another planet?
To feel like you should be on another
galaxy?

Too many feelings, Too many emotions
Love, hurt, pain.
is it always like this?
Is it always the same?

Lost in another universe
In another state of mind.
Lost in my own age and time

Dreaming of another place
Somewhere far away
Very far away from here
In a place where you don't have to care

Dreaming of the blue sky
That is oh so high
I just want to be lost
Even though I already feel that way

So confused
Very confused
I don't want to belong
I already know where I'm from but..

I still haven't found "me"
I haven't found myself
That's why i feel like I'm lost
Somewhere else...

*i know this is a completely different style of writing. It's mixed with some stanzas rhyming and others not.
