How low can you go,
How deep can you sink,
Before you have to come back up,
Before you need to breathe?

Deep enough to choke,
Deep enough to drown,
Careful when you need some air,
I just might hold you down.

It's not out of fear,
Or even out of hate,
You've already killed my soul,
I just want to return the favor.

You've caused me so much pain,
Cut me till I bled,
Taunted me and mocked me,
Ignored just what I said.

Believe me, I still love you,
But hates wormed its way in,
They're spinning 'round inside me,
And I don't know which will win.

Maybe you don't know how I feel,
Or you don't know what you did,
If this was all a big mistake,
Then of course my love will win.

But maybe you do know,
And you just don't care,
And thinking about that,
is keeping my hate there.

Right now my love is winning,
And I hope that's how it'll stay,
I really can't stand hating you,
But it just won't go away.

Pay attention now, because,
For you I have some news,
I might hurt you like you hurt me,
One day my love might lose.
