Finding You

The winds brushed against the trees
the air was freezing cold
I felt the tremble in my knees
my face was brick as gold

My heart screamed out at me
fearful of what is to come
The brightness of your eyes I could see
my eyes fell in love

You took off your coat instantly
wrapping it around my body
My heart trusted you faithfully
As you spoke quietly

You whispered, "are you o okay?"
"I'm certainly better now"
"what are you doing out this time of day?"
"I honestly don't know how"

My eyes cleaned my face with tears
"little girl please don't cry"
"I'm really glad you are here"
&& then he looked up in the sky

"See that star so bright
It really lights the sky
