A Love So Deep...

I want to feel my soul leave my body
Fall into the depths of a different universe
Where time is but a memory
And peace is the repeated verse

With music interwoven in the atmosphere
Suspended in air
It occupies no space
As if it's not even there

I compare you to
The best song in the world
A melody of a thousand smiles
The harmony of a beautiful girl

Exploding like a supernova
A celestial expression of love
With a luster brighter than a galaxy of stars
You illuminate from above

I scan the sky from my observatory
To find the source of this light
But my telescope is inadequate
My mind won't forget the sight

I'll navigate forever
Searching the grandeur with vigilance
To find you in the vastness
I'll soar the infinite

I compare you to
The best song in the world
A melody of a thousand smiles
The harmony of a beautiful girl

I can't limit this feeling
To nature or space
Because it's out somewhere beyond every galaxy
Residing forever in heavens sweet embrace

But you may not be as distant as I thought
As I exit my observatory
I feel the warmth of rays
That could only be among me

Closer than the oxygen I'm inhaling
You must be here
Not millions of miles in space
Yet the truth of this is still unclear

For what isn't lost can't be found
Nevertheless
I will wait out every lightyear for you
Cause you're the only one in the universe I'm sure exists

    Wow im not actually much interested reading a long poetry but when i read the title i was definitely interested and now i found it that it has a great expressions of feelings inside more this 2 stanzas

    Wow. Really. That's all I can say. I loved, loved the first stanza. Gosh, I wish a guy would write a poem like this for me!! lol I thought the ending was amazing, too. Everything flowed beautifully. It was an exceptional read.

    You wrote this so beautiful, every line was so heartfelt and was feeled with so much emotion. I really enjoyed this part:
