Ice

by Danielle   Jun 1, 2004

It was too cold that morning
i was frozen like stone
it was inside of me
something in my very bones

it was chilly that afternoon
i was shaken all around
it was inside of me
something not to be found

it was cool that evening
i was stiff from the snow
it was inside of me
something no one knows

it was bitter that night
i was nipped by the windy spice
it was inside of me
something cold as ice

"it" is an emotion that can't really be described...so the whole poem was based on trying to descover a word close enough to describe it and the closest thing I could think of was "ice"....hence the poem...lol I hope that explains it a little better

I thought it was very well written, maybe if you told what "it" was would make it a little bit better, but thats just my opinion. It was great anyway
