Unnoticed Deadend

by Countess of Monte Cristo   Jul 2, 2008

Relief...
To me it is a relief...
To you it may be a sad end... to others it may be the victory of their enviness...
But after all, everybody has their own belief

Strange situation
You want revenge... Then comes regret
Life has this mysterious creation...
At any unprepared moment, the stage is set...

Giving each other pain...
Prolonging the journey when you know it was the end...
No sadness... no happiness... nothing to gain...
No rules to bend

Life seemed impossible t o you... When all of us had hope
Now... hope has passed us by...
Like a desert... drinking the rain... But still dry.

Every attempt to breakthrough
Success fades away
Nothing old, nothing new
Remembrance of yesterday's mistakes... forgetting that our setting is today

Life gives us a choice...
Opportunities in disguise...
Your conscience raises its voice...
In some way, it cries

You can either listen to the voice within...
Or you can keep walking to your doom
There are rules...Expectations... To you they are a sin
Your actions are right... That's what you presume...

You call it bravery.
I call it a mere attitude of the weak
You are trapped inside yourself... the worst slavery
I'm here if you felt any remorse...I'm here for you to speak

One last moment...Before life shows its darkest side
It's calling for you to stop, and get back to sanity
The world feeds love, harmony and peace... not pride
Just don't get fooled by your vanity

That is life... a strange situation
You want revenge...Then comes regret
It has its special mysterious creation...
At any unprepared moment... The stage is set.
