I wish God would talk to me
and tell me what to do.
I wish things weren't hard to see
and to have a clear view.

Who am I supposed to love?
What do I do with the rest?
This I am impatient of.
This is too hard to digest.

Feelings are easy, but knowing is hard.
How do I dispose of this complication?
When should I bring up and put down my guard?
My heart's at loss when I need navigation.

Will this sink or will it float?
Or will they all crash and burn?
Which man am I meant to dote?
Should I give them each a turn?

This is not something I want to circumvent.
I want to find true love and hold it,
but how on earth will I know when love is meant?
To win my love, who should I permit?

So please God, talk to me.
I feel compelled to ask for your advice.
Which love is meant to be?
