Skeleton

by Kik   Jul 3, 2008

I'm six feet under the soil,
Left here covered in dirt,
My body is starting to spoil,
This coffin does not work,
Pores and cracks showing,
I'm just a skeleton now,
Blood no longer flowing,
It no longer knows how,
I'm dust and memories,
Wonder if anybody misses me?
If they reminisce when I lived,
When my body was nourished,
And wise words I would always give,
Now my bones are soft as gelatin,
Because now I'm just a skeleton...

    I love this.
    Absolutely beautiful.
    5/5.

    Sincerely, Sammie-Lee.
