In This Skin

by Fantasy   Jul 3, 2008

Everyone whispers,
As she walks on by,
She doesn't look back,
Keeps her head held high,
And pretends it doesn't hurt,
To know she will never fit in.

Beautiful?
Shouldn't beautiful mean
Being yourself?
Not having to fake it,
And pretend your happy,
Please!
Beauty is so much more.

Just to be comfortable in your skin,
In your own skin,
Should be enough,
To be beautiful.
