Free Puppet

by dante   Jul 3, 2008

I crawled after you even when you pushed me away
Yet sill you toy with my heart on a string
Given to you freely through love
Still expecting to run back to you at your smallest whim
Then you pushed me so hard I stumbled and fell
Into the darkness of oblivion
And in that solstice of dark terror my life
I regained my will and broke free of your cloying influence
No more will you use me
This puppet has no master I have cut the stings and dance only for myself
