When she was crying,
No one was there.
Her soul is slowly dieing.
Cause it seems like no one cares.
She flips through the pages,
Looking through her life.
The one with so many stages,
It had so much sadness and strife.
She closes the book,
And runs to her car.
She just wants one last look,
At a place that isn't so far.
She stops at the place,
And gets out of her car.
Seems like nothing can erase,
The memories that caused her heart to scar.
She looks at the stone,
That shows her lover's name.
She cries and feels so alone,
To her, nothing feels the same.
He was all that she had,
And in just one moment he was gone.
Nothing can keep her from being sad,
So she sits there staring at the stone.
She glances down and sees and rose,
With a message that said,"I'm still with you."
She dried her eyes, and to her feet she rose,
For some reason she no longer felt blue.
She got in her car and drove home,
Wearing a smile upon her face.
Now she knows that he was there all along,
And that she'll see him again by grace.
She changes her clothes and lays in bed,
Carefully thinking about that day.
She thought about what the note said,
And realized that everything was going to be OK.
She looks at the clock and saw that it was late,
She slowly closes her eyes.
Suddenly she felt tired, but at the same time, great.
She took one last breath and she died.
She got into the heavenly gates,
And she saw him standing there.
She ran into his arms and again felt great,
Feeling that someone did care.
Forever they walked side-by-side,
They no longer felt alone.
They were together as husband and bride,
And shared a love that they knew all along.
* This is dedicated to my grandma, who finally saw her husband again in heaven! i love you!
