A crumbled Heart

by David Marshall   Jul 3, 2008

I'm helpless as it all falls apart.
Impossible to catch the pieces of this broken heart.

All shattered by a simple touch.
Even the littlest sting was simply too much.

Crumbled to oblivion all alone.
Bound to happen after a crack so grown.

It's OK, Don't bother; Just let it be.
Nothing can reshape this hearts debris.

I'm helpless as it all falls apart.
I'm done trying to rebuild this broken heart...

(People tell you over and over again, Never give up. But how many times does it take for people to realize its enough. Its like Gambling, if you keep going, you might just lose it all, best just to stop where your at. Whats the point.)

Unfortunately in most cases people shouldn't continue to force a relationship, because more often then not it's dead. I agree with what you have to say and I must also add that you explained your views in a very eloquent and beautiful way. Great Write.
