Nothings ever worth the cost

by Grant Gilbert AKA Slash   Jul 4, 2008

Nothing's ever worth the cost

You curse me now
And you laugh in my face
Nothing's ever worth the cost

I'll tear out your tongue
I'll rip out your heart
And feed it to you piece by piece

I draw my knife
And fire my gun
Nothing's ever worth the cost

Don't look at me now
With a tear in your eye
Whatever is done is done

Sometimes you've got to rock
Sometimes you've got to roll
Nothing's ever worth the cost

I get on my bike
And I hit the road
I tear up the tar with ease

So I open the throttle
And ride off a cliff
Nothing's ever worth the cost

An well written poem of anger and a message of beware. This isn't usually my type of poem but I enjoyed this one
    Very well done.
