Fading Photograph

by Bare My Paradox   Jul 4, 2008

Noteworthy memories appear to mind
Struggling through passing time
Emanticipating emotions once suppressed
Liberating butterflies which were once oppressed

This Fading photograph has so much to say
For just a moment the memories take me away
Piquant; overwhelming, the photograph I hold
Tacit words whispering,telling stories untold

It's now just a memory; something that walked by
Something so special that moistens my eyes
It was all so heartfelt, all so true
But now just a fading photograph of me and you

The colors are dying; the love died long back
Just a few weak memories on a rusty old rack
The album is now shut; though tears won't dry
The fading photograph tells me
Some things never die
