A Pain You Couldnt Even Believe

Here eyes are red
her notebook held so close to her chest
her head down
she feels so depressed

she sits at her desk
her head buried in her sleeves
she is a girl who feels heartbreak
with a pain you couldn't even believe

she cant focus
nothing seems right
she keeps tracing hearts on her desk
telling herself it'll be alright

class ends
she enters the hall
he walks by
as a tear slowly falls

he looks her way
his eyes are red too
she couldn't take it
..she didn't know what to do

she ran to the bathroom
hoping no one would see
the pain has got to her
her heart breaking to the fullest degree

she lays there
crying in the stall
praying things will get better in time
& hopefully cure it all

She walks out
he is waiting there for she
she trys to turn away
but he says "Please don't walk away from me"

she feels frozen
stuck on what to do
her mind is telling her to run
& his is telling him the same thing too

he tells her he is sorry
for all that he has put her through
she begins to cry
& whispers "the pain is nothing new"

she pushes his hand away
leaving him in the past
who would have known
