The Endless War

by ChaosKiller69   Jul 5, 2008

In life we do the strangest things,
All we think about is being king.
lives full of love and hate,
making big decisions and horrible mistakes.

We grow up in a world of war,
with violence around us it's hard to ignore.
So many guns and so many bombs,
maybe it's about time they dropped it on Saddam.

Maybe then will this war end,
well maybe not but we can pretend.
I guess we will have to stay and fight,
But this war will never end overnight.

So many years wasted fighting this endless war,
with all the bodies floating offshore.
All these caskets filled with the dead,
because of all the bombs dropped overhead.

As bullets fly and people die,
women and children sit home and cry.
All they can do is hope and pray,
that he will be home some day.
