To sleep perchance to dream (the soul lake)

by sierra dawn langdon   Jul 5, 2008

Drifting drearily across a distant lake
sheltered from the waking world
without the least forsake
preserved in peaceful stillness lay
in darkest sleeping slumber
but now in light they play
unaware and unknowing
the souls they drift along
a soft faint breath across the lake
of swift aproaching dawn
