All In Their Head

by RebelForever   Jul 5, 2008

How could this happen, how could it be?
How come this they didn't forsee?
An unlikely paring of two different people.
Both had their strengths, neither one feeble.
A paring became a friendship, odd as it may be.
A friendship became deep, more than eyes can see.
Long nights up together, alone.
Feelings were developed, but never shown.
Each other's company became part of life.
They told each other of all their strife.
Having fun and watching each other's back.
Together all the time, feelings in a sack.
They say they love each other everyday.
It's always playful, not in a meaningful way.
They flirt, they tease, they fall deeper each time.
Both forgetting about all of life's slime.
They love each other but never will it be said.
Both just think it's all in their head.
