Melodious Night

by StandStill   Jul 5, 2008

Can you hear the symphony
or fireworks and running feet?
It courses through this world's blood,
for every meoldy needs a beat.

Every laughed out word adds a hum
to an ever-larger song.
Sparklers and too-grand smiles,
don't be scared, dear, sing along.

One of those nights where you feel alive,
with smoke hanging softly on the summer breeze.
Scream at the top of your lungs, because you can,
there aren't enough nights like these.

**a lot shorter than i'd hoped.....but! it's happy. ^.^**
